PLAN A: Time Management and Accountability
Together, we analyze every class syllabus and enter that information into your Master Calendar.
Using your Master Calendar, you’ll learn how to effectively make a daily and weekly study plan.
Topics addressed in this plan are scheduling, planning, procrastination, prioritization, and test prep. Deeper learning skills take more time to practice and develop and are covered in PLAN B.
We meet periodically throughout the semester to discuss your progress and challenges with the system and make changes as needed.
This plan consists of approximately 8 hours spread over the semester and consumed in 15 minute increments.

This is the over-arching process for encoding information beyond just preparing for exams.
You’ll also get tips on managing procrastination and distractions, balancing personal and college life, when and where to study, and getting help when needed. This plan can start before classes begin to get an introduction to the basics.
